The Centre and Office will be closed on Tuesday 17th July, Monday 6th to Friday 10th August and Friday 31st August 2018 for staff training and annual instrument stock check.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

How to return an instrument

Instrument return slip

Before returning your instrument, download our 'Conditions of Hire'.  At the bottom of the form there is an 'Instrument return slip'.  This should be completed and signed by the person receiving the instrument (this will either be a member of staff at Colwell or at your child's school).  Please keep this slip - it is your proof that you no longer have the instrument should there be any query in the future.

Returning your instrument to Colwell

Instruments can be returned directly to Colwell Arts Centre, Derby Road, Gloucester. GL1 4AD.  Our opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 4.30pm

Friday 8.30am to 4pm

Closed on Bank Holidays

During school holidays please ring first (01452 330300) as there are occasions when the office may be closed for short periods of time.

Returning your instrument to your child's school

Alternatively, if your child attends a Gloucestershire LEA/Academy school, it may be possible to return the instrument to the school office, however we are only able to collect/deliver instruments at the start of each major term (see below) so please check that they are happy to store the instrument.

    Spring term = January
    Summer term = after Easter
    Autumn term = September

Once we know that an instrument is ready to be collected we will contact the school beforehand to let them know the date that we will be visiting.
