F.A.M.E. / BBC
Welcome to F.A.M.E.
Your free F.A.M.E music sessions are here...
Any child who has just started playing an instrument now has the perfect opportunity to hone their skills with GM’s expert tutors.
Gloucestershire Music is able to offer additional support through their F.A.M.E. Academies in Gloucester, Stroud and the Forest of Dean – and they are FREE.
Steven Legge (Extended Learning & Provision Manager) said: "Playing in a group or small ensemble is an essential part of any young musicians life. The earlier we can get young musicians along to their local music centre the more they will progress, learn and succeed in music."
F.A.M.E. sessions last for 45 - 60 minutes and are designed to improve ensemble skills through rhythm games, singing and practical music making.
F.A.M.E. can compliment lessons that your child may be receiving at school or at home and provides a gentle introduction to your local music centre.
If you have just started playing an instrument, then join us and become a F.A.M.E. musician.
BBC Radio Gloucestershire is helping us promote our F.A.M.E. sessions and our adult Learn As You Play Programmes.
Some of our F.A.M.E. and LAYP Musicians will be invited to perform at one of our concerts at the Stroud Subscription Rooms in December.
