If you have students aged 8 – 18 interested in jazz and improvisation the NYJC would like to invite them to a special event they’re holding on 12th August 2017 in Kings Place, London.

news

NYJC’s celebratory 10th Birthday Festival kicks off with four FREE taster workshops (led by NYJC’s award winning Artistic Director Issie Barratt supported by NYJC’s Mick Foster, Kim Macari and Tom Hewson) specifically designed for young people interested in joining NYJC’s national and regional jazz groups (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) and are keen to see what sort of thing they involve – both in repertoire and teaching style.

These FREE taster workshops will run from 11 am to 12 noon as part of NYJC 10th birthday Festival day on August 12th 2017 and are only available to young people not currently involved with NYJC activities. Click for more details here: http://nationalyouthjazz.co.uk/weare10workshops/ [expired]

Numbers are limited to 20 per workshop, so we recommend participants book early to secure a place, using this form https://form.jotformeu.com/71624379196365 (closed)

Following the FREE taster workshops NYJC would like to invite your students to stay and hear NYJC’s wonderful “double” free lunchtime concert of young NYJC players aged 10 – 18 from around the country in Kings Place’s Foyer and Hall Two, which is bound to motivate and inspire your wonderful students even further!
