Llangrannog Music Residential Course

GM’s new four-day residential course will be open to all young musicians in Gloucestershire (grade 3 and above) and designed to give them the chance to discover new repertoire, compose, create their own music and work alongside visiting tutors from the LEAP Ensemble (Birmingham Conservatoire’s Learning and Participation Ensemble).

April 11th - 14th 2018

Our NEW EVENT for young musicians

Junior Course, grade 3 - 5
Senior Course, grade 6 - advanced
County Youth Choir course (aged 11 – 18)
(all courses will run simultaneously)

  • Explore new repertoire, chamber music, full band and orchestral sessions.
  • Technical classes and workshops from GM tutors and LEAP musicians
  • Recital opportunities for advanced musicians
  • Outdoor adventures including go karting, swimming and archery. 

Llangrannog Residential Centre is part of the Urdd Association, a movement providing residential camps to young people. Their staff are fully qualified and will provide extra support to the music tutors from GM and the LEAP Ensemble. 

The cost (which includes transport and all activities): 

Members of GM:               £260 for the first child / £240 for subsequent children.
(Bursaries are available)

Non-GM Members:           £290 for the first child / £270 for subsequent children.
(Bursaries are available) 

Places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Deadline for applications will be the 1st December 2017 along with a non-refundable deposit of £100.  We will invoice in January 2018 for the remaining balance.
