Professional development for music teachers and heads of music

We're committed to providing opportunities for the professional development of classroom music teachers working in the county's secondary schools.

Recently, these have included:

• termly free half day sessions covering such areas as the KS3 Strategy for Music, Musical Futures, Music ICT resources including Gloucestershire Music Interactive, and assessment criteria and end of key stage targets (see the National Curriculum website).
• occcasional day conferences. The next conference will be on 24th June 2010 (programme details and venue to be confirmed).
