Professional development for music co-ordinators

We work with various partners to provide support to music co-ordinators in primary schools. At present this consists of :

Sing Up - the national singing campaign. Sing Up in Gloucestershire supports the professional development of all Primary Teachers via local cluster training and development sessions and countywide larger scale training days. Gloucestershire is supported via the Swindon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire (SWAG) area leader Liz Terry (SWAG@singup.org).

Trinity Guildhall/Open University Training, 'Perform'. We have arranged for this training primarily for music teachers involved in delivering Wider Opportunities programmes at Key Stage 2. This programme runs from January 2010-July 2011 as part of Tune In - the National Year of Music.  Perform! includes brand new resources for Wider Opportunities, a celebration event in Summer 2010 and a chance to win equipment for your school. It is now closed to new entrants, but you can obtain further general information from the course website.
