Free KS2 tuition - Wider Opportunities in Music

In addition to offering instrumental and vocal lessons to pupils, we provide free whole class instrumental and vocal sessions to primary schools.

All primary schools in Gloucestershire been benefiting from government funding to enable every child at Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11), over time, to learn to play an instrument or sing if they wish to do so. This funding has been guaranteed for 2008-11, and in Gloucestershire every Key Stage 2 class will receive 10 whole class instrumental and vocal sessions during this time.

Schools have been invited to choose which instruments their classes would like to learn, including strings, brass, clarinet, recorder, percussion, vocal and pre - instrumental skills.
