Wow, it's Music Next!

All Key Stage 2 classes in Gloucestershire schools will receive 10 free whole class sessions between 2008 and 2011, a chance to experience strings, brass, clarinet , recorder, Samba percussion or singing. This is a programme funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to enable all Primary aged children over time to have the opportunity to play a musical instrument or sing.

We are very proud of our programme in Gloucestershire and welcome a recently published national impact assessment of the project commissioned by the Federation of Music Services (FMS). The main author of the report, Professor Anne Bamford, is an internationally respected expert.
