Gloucestershire Young Musician of the Year
In partnership with Lincoln Financial Group
The Gloucestershire Young Musician Competition takes place each year and is open to students living or educated within the county. Entrants should be 22 years of age or under.
The first round is held in January from which 5 finalists are chosen to perform in the Pittville Pump Room in March of the same year. Each finalist receives a cheque for £100. The winner will receive £500, The Oldbury Trophy and three public performances.
The competition is open to students of grade 8 + standard on woodwind, string, brass, keyboard and orchestral percussion.

Gloucestershire Young Musician of the Year 2010 Winner
The finalists for this year's competition were Elin White (Violin), Andy McDade (Tuba), Alaistair Roberts (Guitar), Thomas Percy (Violin) and Therese De Souza (Violin) with congratulations going to Therese on becoming the Gloucestershire Young Musician 2010.
