Gloucestershire Music provides a common curriculum for all instrumental and vocal staff.
In the early years of learning it is vital to provide a broad and varied musical education which develops all areas of the student's musical understanding: performance, listening, appraising, communicating and composition.

SKILLS AWARDS
Skills Awards 1, 2 and 3 provide an incentive to practice and a sense of accomplishment. GM Awards are also a good way to prepare students for formal instrumental or vocal exams. Click on the links below to download a scheme of work.
MODERATION AND CERTIFICATES
Each award is moderated by the student's teacher / tutor.
Certificates are requested by and issued to the teacher / tutor.
