How can we help?
We’re here to help you to learn, share and enjoy music-making. You can find out more about
what we do and why we do it in the About us section.
The majority of our activities are for children and young people - but not all of them! Find out more about things we offer for over 18s on our
Not a young person? page.
New to Gloucestershire Music? We can help by ...
-
providing lessons in school or in our out-of-school hours music centres
(some of which also run their own orchestras and bands)
-
bringing you together with other people to make music in our county music groups
– orchestras, bands, and other groups that rehearse and perform together across the county
-
providing an instrument – from bassoons to xylophones, we can hire instruments to anyone in the County (not just pupils)
... and in various other ways including a
summer orchestral course, the
Gloucestershire Young Musician competition, and our various services to schools (lessons, concerts, workshops, online music resources, special projects and support for teachers).
